You can be taught how to save a life with essential First Aid skills — and we also offer a complete range of workplace safety training to protect you, your colleagues, and your business.

In addition to First Aid, we provide:

We also supply professional event medical cover and are proud to be a preferred supplier for Cornwall Air Ambulance events.

Obviously, you won’t become a fully-fledged First Aider or safety specialist after a short introduction — you need a complete skill set and regular practice. The good news is that simple, life-saving techniques and safe working practices can be learned quickly, and could make all the difference in an emergency or in preventing workplace accidents.

What First Aid Course is right for me?

Workplace First Aid

This can broadly be split into low risk and higher/high risk workplaces. We provide:

• 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work

• 3-day First Aid at Work courses (as well as the 2-day requalification course)
  depending on the level of risk at work and the size of your workforce at your site or office.

Outdoor First Aid

There are two available:

• 8-hour Outdoor First Aid Emergency Action

• 16-hour Outdoor First Aid course
  There is also an Advanced Outdoor First Aid course, but we do not run these ourselves. If you are interested, get in touch and we will put you in contact with someone who does.

Paediatric First Aid

If you provide any form of childcare, you will almost certainly need either the 6-hour or 12-hour Paediatric Course. If you want to provide First Aid skills to staff (e.g., lunchtime cover, after-school club staff) on top of your existing arrangements, look at our First Aid for School Staff course.

Specialist First Aid

Group Bookings

We run First Aid courses all across Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, and South West England. We are based in Redruth, Cornwall, and have a network of trainers across the South West — from Penzance to Exeter, Bristol to Bournemouth. If you are looking for a private booking, we can run it wherever you are. If you do not have enough people for a full course, we can still run it as it may be more convenient for you anyway. If you are looking for an individual place, check out our Calendar page for courses. This lists all our public dates, so if your course type and location are not listed, we won’t be able to help you, sorry. It might be worth considering clubbing together with others for a private group booking, though.
